From February of 2009 to January of 2011, I had the misfortune of working at a screen printing company in Boone, Iowa called Intensitee, Inc. While it was not a good job, and was a very poorly managed company, Intensitee turned me into a considerably better designer and a much more accountable production artist. You have to be when the Head Printer is a violent alcoholic who yells at you for the smallest of mistakes. Having come from two very large companies, I was not the greatest at sending my work to production when I got to Intensitee. When you work at a smaller company where money is tight, you have to learn the right way to do things very quickly. I definitely got a crash course in production art and took away a lot from the experience
